摘　　要：对于袁世凯从被罢至返籍期间的活动,有多种歧异和相互矛盾的记述。本文利用英、美、日外交档案对袁世凯活动的记录,参照其他文献资料,对袁世凯的活动轨迹进行详细考辨。1909年1月2日上午,袁世凯和其他军机大臣一起接受了摄政王载沣的召见。世续、张之洞被召二次入内召对,他们返回军机处时,向袁世凯出示了罢袁谕旨。袁世凯回到家后,拟于第二天一早到宫中谢恩。袁家人则劝其逃离北京。袁世凯接受家人劝告,1月3日乘早车到天津,住英租界利顺德饭店。当天晚上又返回北京,入宫谢恩。1月4日,袁世凯向军机大臣做了工作上的交接。1月5日下午,袁世凯乘火车离京南下河南汲县。但是,袁世凯究竟接受何人劝告由津返京,尚存疑问。Based on relevant literature,this paper makes a detailed investigation into the activity track of Yuan Shikai. On January 2,1909,Yuan was summoned by Zai Feng together with other ministers. While Shi Xu and Zhang Zhidong was summoned the second time,they came out with the imperial edict of removing Yuan. Yuan took the train to Tianjin on January 3,but returned to Beijing later in the evening to express gratitude. On January 4,Yuan handed over his work and on the afternoon of January 5,Yuan took the trin to Jixian county of Henan. However,there still remained unknown who advised him to come back to Beijing from Tianjin.
