Effects of Coaches'Paternalistic Leadership Behaviors on Psychological Well-Being in College Athletes:From Self-Determination Theory Perspective

摘  要:基于自我决定理论,采用问卷调查法,以523名大学生运动员为研究对象,运用因素分析、相关分析与回归分析,探讨教练家长式领导行为对大学生运动员心理幸福感的影响及其内在的作用机制。结果表明:教练家长式领导行为对大学生心理幸福感有显著的预测力,大学生运动员基本心理需求满足在其中具有部分中介作用;激励气氛在教练家长式领导行为与大学生运动员基本心理需求满足感之间具有正向的调节作用,即激励气氛得分越高,这种正向关系也越强;激励气氛对家长式领导行为与大学生运动员心理幸福感关系的调节作用,是部分地通过大学生运动员基本心理需求满足为中介而产生。Based on the self-determination theory, this paper was to explore the effects of coaches' paternalistic leadership behaviors and psychological well-being on the college athletes, as well as the internal mechanism. 523 college athletes were chosen while factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used. The results showed that:① The coaches' paternalistic leadership behaviors had positive predictive effects of psychological well-being in the athletes, and this relationship was mediated by basic psychological needs satisfaction; ②Motivational climate positively moderated the relationship between the coaches' paternalistic leadership behaviors and the athletes' basic psychological needs satisfac- tion in college, namely, that the main effect was stronger when the moderator was high; ③Motivational climate acted as a mediated-moderator which moderated the relationship between coaches' paternalistic leadership behaviors and psychologi- cal well-being in college athletes.
