摘　　要：海洋信息索引服务系统的关键在于需要有一套完备、科学的元数据格式,对各种海洋信息的格式、内容、意义等进行定义,使得能够对各种信息进行有效的解释和组织。本文以ISO 19115和DIF标准为依据,提出了一种基于XML的元数据格式定义方案,以XML为元数据定义描述语言,对各种海洋信息进行解释和定义,其具有较好的易用性和通用性。在此基础上,本文研究并构建了基于Web服务的海洋信息索引服务系统,经验证能够对海洋信息进行有效的存储和管理。Marine information directory service system is the key that requires a set of complete and scientific metadata format, defining the format, content and meaning of all kinds of marine information, so that it can explain all kinds of information effectively. In this paper, based on ISO 19115 and DIF standards, we propose a metadata format definition scheme based on XML, making XML for metadata definition description language, explanation and definition for a variety of marine information, which has good usability and versatility. On this basis, this paper studies and builds the ocean information directory service system based on Web se^ice, and it is verified to storage and management of marine information effectively.
