论政府在保障农村老年人合法权益的责任

摘　　要：农村老年人的身体、物质生活及精神状况等方面都处于低下的水平,在养老金、基本医疗保障、赡养权、精神生活等合法权益没有得到应有的保障。保障农村老年人合法权益需要政府各部门履行职责,给予法律和政策制度、物质和精神等方面的大力支持、帮助和关爱。The rural elderly people are under the average level in terms of health, material life and mental state. Their deserved old-age pension, basic healthcare security, support rights and spiritual life have not been properly protected. The guarantee of the lawful rights and interests of the rural elderly people calls for all the government departments to perform their respective duties, provide great support and care for them in law and policy system, materials and spirits.
