An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of adding Bacillus coagulas preparation on growth performance and non-specific immunity of Litopenaeus vannamei.Litopenaeus vannamei were randomly allotted to 4groups.Four diets were added 0.0%(groupⅠ,control group),0.5%(group Ⅱ),1.0%(groupⅢ)and 1.5%(groupⅣ)Bacillus coagulas preparation in basal diet, respectively. The experiment lasted for 20 days. The results showed that the mass gain ratio, the survival rate and specific growth ratio increased gradually as adding amount of Bacillus coagulas in the diet, while the feed conversion ratio decreased. The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and alkaline phosphatase(AKP)got the maximum value respectively at 1.5% Bacillus coagulas, significantly higher than that of the control group(P〈0.05).The activity of acid phosphatase(ACP)had the similar situation. The activity of phenoloxidase(PO)and peroxidase(POD)was not significant(P〉0.05).In conclusion, adding Bacillus coagulas in basal diet could promote growth performance and enhance non-specific immunity in the shrimp.
