摘　　要：潮汕民间故事是潮汕人在长期社会生产生活实践中创造的一种俗文学,具有丰富的文化内涵。它见证了潮汕社会历史发展的进程,对潮汕历史研究有一定的史料佐证作用;它反映了潮汕文化的发展历程,对潮汕建筑文化、饮食文化、地名文化、节俗文化、信仰文化、华侨文化、戏剧文化等,有着重要的研究价值。Chaoshan folk tales are popular literature originated from Chaoshan, through long-term social production and life practice. It witnesses the process of Chaoshan social and historical development and is of historical data value in Chaoshan historical research; it reflects the process of Chaoshan＇s cultural development and has important research value in Chaoshan＇s culture in the fields of architecture, food, geographical-names, festival, religion, overseas-chinese, drama, etc.
