摘　　要：美第奇家族图书馆是文艺复兴时期欧洲知识传播的重要渠道,并在知识传播环境、知识传播主体、知识传播内容、知识传播对象、知识传播媒介等方面都展现出了深刻的时代特征。作为私人创立的图书馆,它在西欧历史上却承担了公共图书馆的知识传播功能。它不仅促进了文艺复兴运动在深度和广度上的展开,为欧洲近代科学和理性精神的复苏做出了弥足珍贵的贡献,而且为近代公共图书馆的形成奠定了必要的文化基础。Medici Family Libraries are the important channel of the knowledge dissemination in Europe in the Renaissance and show profound characteristics of the era in aspects of the environment, the main body, contents, objects and the medium of the knowledge dissemination. As libraries founded by private, they undertake the function of the knowledge dissemination of the public library in the history of Western Europe. They not only promote the expansion of the Renaissance in depth and breadth and have precious values for the recovery of the European modern science and rational spirit, but also establish the necessary cultural foundation for the formation of modem public libraries.
