摘　　要：20世纪以来的当代西方文论,在一百多年的时间里高歌猛进,取得了重大成就。但是,放在整个西方文论近三千年的历史中,用历史分期理论来衡量,它仍处于震荡调整期。在这个时期,对普遍方法的怀疑和否定,对基本规则的挑战和僭越,对传统理论的蔑视和冲击,使理论的生成毫无约束,任意挥洒,甚至突破一般常识和逻辑界线。在震荡与调整之间的博弈,震荡明显占据上峰,震荡压倒调整。这种现象,既体现了理论的批判精神和创造精神,也给理论发展带来混乱和冲突。Contemporary Western literary criticism has experienced an unprecedented development and made great achievements in the over one hundred years since the beginning of the 20th century. However, in light of the long Western literary critical history of nearly 3,000 years, the contemporary period is still in the phase of oscillation and adaptation. This phase is characterized by the questioning and negating of general methods, the challenging and transgressing of basic rules, and the disparaging and attacking of traditional theories, all of which make it possible for new theories to generate themselves freely, and even to surmount the boundaries of common sense and logic. Obviously, oscillation gets the upper hand in its combat with adaptation. Its overpowering of adaptation gives expression to the critical and creative spirits, and also leads to confusion and conflict in the development of theories.
