摘　　要：作为澳大利亚民族主义作家亨利·劳森研究之集大成者,克里斯托弗·李在《城市丛林人:亨利·劳森与民族想象》一书中,通过翔实的文字图片和文献资料,以深厚的文化知识为基础,从劳森的"早期声誉"、"逝后追忆"、"经典形成"、"名人效应"四个方面,结合澳大利亚民族主义时期的文化、历史、政治现实,深入而精准地探讨了亨利·劳森在澳大利亚文学史上经典地位的形成过程,及其对澳大利亚民族的深远影响。《城市丛林人》的最大特征是,通过劳森的政治现实和文本现实两方面,考察了劳森经典地位的形成问题和劳森对澳大利亚文学和文化的当前影响问题,是对劳森研究和澳大利亚民族主义研究的新贡献。As a great research scholar of Henry Lawson, Christopher Lee＇s City Bushman： Henry Lawson and Australia Imagination presents us a deep and profound research into the forming process of Lawson＇s classic status in Australian literary history from four perspectives with accuracy and academia： ＂Early Reputation＂, ＂Posthumously Memorialisation＂, ＂Canonisation＂, and ＂Local Use of Celebrity＂. In addition, this book also illustrates deeply how Lawson has been influencing the development of Australian literature and culture from Lawson＇s time to the present. The insightful new study of Henry Lawson＇s canonical status is a contribution to the study of Henry Lawson and to the study of Australian Nationalism.
