摘　　要：文章说明上古汉语清浊别义的来源是使动*s-前缀,例如:败*b-自破/败*s-b>*s-p>*p-破他。而严学宭先生(1963、1998)已经说过此事。Abstract： This paper argues that the causative ＊s-prefix gives rise to the voicing alternation in Old Chinese： Bai（败）＊b-/Bai（败）＊s-b 〉 ＊s-p 〉 ＊p-. It further notes that Professor Yan Xuequn（严学宭 1963, 1998） was the first to point this out in Chinese.
