摘　　要：徐调孚与茅盾、郑振铎、叶圣陶等,均有着深厚的情谊。他的戏曲研究,曾引起赵景深、叶德均、浦江清等著名学者的关注。文章就其与昆曲的结缘、与戏曲研究名家赵景深的交往及其在戏曲研究方面所作出的学术贡献进行论述。徐调孚戏曲研究成果的数量,相较同时期的研究大家可谓有限,然其学术分量却值得一书。首先,是对近代学术研究文献的补苴与梳理。其次,是对戏曲目录之学的探究。再次,是对戏曲研究中若干重要学术问题如戏曲之概念、戏剧体制、戏曲生成等的探讨。《民国时期戏曲研究学谱》系列论文致力于发掘学界往事、回顾大家治学经历与为学途径,是为了捡拾学术前辈们留下的精神财富,不断汲取前贤治学的精髓,学习他们为人的无私坦荡和为学的深根固本,从而恢复"研究"二字的重量,并彻底摈弃某些"去中国化"的不良倾向,以赓续道统,守护学术之正脉。Xu Diaofu enjoyed profound friendship with Mao Dun,Zheng Zhenduo,Ye Shengtao,among others.His opera research was paid a great attention to by famous scholars such as Zhao Jingshen,Ye Dejun,Pu Jiangqing.This paper introduces his love of Kunqu opera,his communication with Zhao Jingshen,a famous opera researcher,and his academic contributions in traditional opera research.Although the number of Xu Diaofu＇s achievements may be limited as compared with those of his peer researchers of his time,the value of his academic is laudable.Firstly,he supplemented,amended and reviewed systematically the modern academic research literature.Secondly,his achievements showed his study of bibliography of the traditional Chinese opera.Thirdly,he dealt with some important academic issues in the study of the opera such as the concepts of the opera,the opera systems and the generation of the opera.Series of papers published in ＂ Research of Opera Scholars in the Period of the Republic of China＂ focused on delving into the past of the academic circle,reviewing the research experiences of those famous scholars and their research path in order to learn from them and to develop their selfless academic spirit.
