存在主义视阈下《金色眼睛的映像》与《爱》的比较

摘　　要：当代英语文坛著名女性作家卡森·麦卡勒斯与安吉拉·卡特在人生经历与写作风格方面具有诸多相似之处。二人的小说作品都对爱情主题情有独钟,在思想内涵方面都表现出强烈的存在主义倾向。同为表现主题类似的女性文本,麦卡勒斯的《金色眼中的映像》和安吉拉·卡特的《爱》都表现了处于荒谬世界中的人如何试图通过自由选择寻求真爱,并企望借助爱情摆脱现实世界处境限制,以及在注定的失败面前所表现出的勇敢与坚韧。As two famous women writers of modern English literature, Carson McCullers and Angela Carter＇ s share so many similarities in the aspect of their life experiences and writing styles. They both show special liking to the love theme in their novels and strong tendency of existentialism in the aspect of ideological content. Same as literature works written by women writers, Carson Mc- Cullers＇ Reflections in A Golden Eye and Angela Carter＇ s Love both describe how people try to find true love through freedom of choice in the absurd world and hope to get rid of situation limitation of the real world with the help of love, as well as their courage and tenacity shown in the presence of certain failure.
