摘　　要：英语委婉语作为一种语言文化现象广泛应用于社会各阶层以及各个领域,在语言运用的过程中能够起到协调人际关系和社会关系的重要作用,了解英语语言里委婉语现象的分类能够帮助英语语言学习者更好地实现跨文化交流。Euphemism, as an important language phenomenon, is widely used in every level of society and all kinds of fields. It helps to coordinate interpersonal relations and social relationships greatly. Knowing the classification of euphemisms will help English learners bridge the gap of cross-cultural communication.
