略论杨联陞在中国文化海外传播中的贡献——以杨联陞英文学术书评为中心的考察

摘　　要：杨联陞是一位在国际汉学界享有盛誉的著名汉学家。在其学术中,书评占据着不可或缺的地位。杨联陞基于其渊博的知识,灵敏的触觉,在书评中能指出著作的症结所在;另一方面,他在指正著作中的误述谬论时,往往就事论事,不妄下断语,态度又和缓公允,故此其书评为著者所乐于接受。他的学术书评,在国际汉学界有着广泛的影响,并对国际汉学界尤其是美国汉学的发展发挥了重要作用。具体而言,主要表现在:矫正西方汉学界误解误译汉文献的流弊、推进了汉学专门领域内的知识发展、把中国学术引进西方汉学。Yang Liansheng is an internationally renowned sinologist. In his academic activities, book reviews occupy an indispensable position. Based on his profound knowledge and acumen, Yang points out the crux of related books in his book reviews; on the other hand, when he corrects misstatements and fallacies in the works, he is often based on facts instead of making arbitrary judgments, so his book reviews tend to be well accepted by authors. His academic book reviews have great infl uence in the circles of international sinology, which play an important role in the development of international sinology, especially that of American Sinology. Specifi cally, there are several aspects： correcting the misunderstandings and mis-translation of Chinese literature by Western sinologists; promoting the development of specialized knowledge in the fi eld of sinology; and introducing Chinese academic studies into the Western sinology.
