摘　　要：欧内斯特·海明威在美国文坛上享有十分重要的地位,他不仅是一个经历了特殊战争时期的普通人,也是一个接触了文学,善于进行创作的额作家。在他的作品中很善于用自己独特的语言风格来表达写作的意图,他的语言虽然简洁,但是却有自己独有的特征,对他的一生的创作都有很大的影响。本文对他的代表作品《丧钟为谁而鸣》中人物的语言风格进行解读,以了解海明威创作过程中的语言特色。Ernest Hemingway possess a very important position in the literary world in America,he is not only a special war of ordinary people but also a writer that contacts with the literature and be good at writing. In his works,he is very good at using their own unique style of language to express the intention of the writing. Although his language is concise,it has its own unique characteristics,and has a great influence on the creation of his life. This paper has made the interpretation on the characters language style of his representative works ＂ For Whom the Bell Tolls＂ to understand the language features in the process of Hemingway＇s writing.
