Simulation of mixed traffic flow under the influence of honk effect

摘  要:针对具有机非分隔线的城市道路,自行车试图超越前方较慢车辆而越线占用机动车道的现象,采用多车道元胞自动机模型对考虑机动车鸣笛效应下的机非混合交通流进行建模与数值模拟,以衡量鸣笛对自行车越线行驶下的机动车及自行车交通特性的影响.通过仿真实验,发现在机动车中等密度条件下,鸣笛对自行车的越线行为有明显的抑制作用,进而在自行车中等密度范围内,能够提高机动车流量,增加路段输运量,而在自行车高密度条件下将降低自行车流量,进而降低路段输运量.而在机动车低密度及高密度范围内,鸣笛的作用不明显.研究发现,鸣笛效应的引入能够使机非混合交通流元胞自动机的模拟更为接近实际交通运行状况.On road sections with motorized vehicle and bicycle lanes separated by traffic markings,considering illegal lane-changing behavior of bicycles due to overtaking motivation,a new multi-lane cellular automaton model is proposed to investigate the influence of honk effect on mixed traffic flow. Numerical simulation results indicate that,in the intermediate density regime of motorized vehicle,the honk behavior can effectively decrease the likelihood of illegal lane-changing behavior. Thus,maximum flux of motorized vehicle flow increases in the intermediate density regime of bicycle. And the maximum flux of bicycle decreases in the high density regime of bicycle. Similar characteristics can also be found in the variations of system transport capacity. Furthermore,in the low and high density regimes of motorized vehicle,no obvious influence of honk effect can be observed. The study indicates that the cellular automaton model with honk effect is able to reproduce the critical phenomena in real mixed traffic flow.
