摘　　要：气候变化带来了一系列的气象灾难,也深刻影响着旅游业的发展。有关气候变化与旅游发展的研究文献于20世纪70年代开始出现,研究的重点主要集中于气候变化对旅游发展的影响,以及旅游发展对气候变化的应对。气候变化对于旅游发展的影响包括直接的气候影响、间接的气候及环境影响、旅游流的可能变化、社会影响4个方面;旅游发展对气候变化的应对策略主要是旅游业对气候变化影响的"减缓"与"适应"。今后关于气候变化与旅游发展的研究,应该从可持续旅游的视角加强基础理论研究,发掘气候变化对旅游发展的正面影响,探索旅游业应对气候变化的主动策略。Climate change is one of the most significant, controversial global issues facing both research and policy. It results in a range of climatic and environmental challenges, which have major impacts on societies and economic sectors around the world. Due to the highly climate sensitive nature of tourism, it has been already and will be affected by climate change. Climate change has emerged as a major topic in tourism studies. Climate change and tourism literature emerged in 1970s＇ ,mainly focused on the impacts of climate change on tourism, and tourism responses to climate change. Climate change impacts on tourism include direct climatic impacts, indirect climatic and environmental impacts, changes in tourist flow and mobility, and broad societal impacts. Tourism is both a contributor to and a victim of climate change. Its responses to climate change, therefore includes both mitiga- tion and adaptation. This paper provides a comprehensive and critical review of existing body of knowledge in tourism and cli- mate change from an international perspective, before identifying research gaps and proposing new directions for further research from a Chinese perspective. It concludes that although the tourism and climate change literature has experienced rapid growth in the last ten years, the area still remains restricted in scope and depth, especially in adaptation studies. Therefore the authors pro- pose that Chinese researchers may contribute to building the tourism and climate change research by focusing on tourism specific theoretical frameworks, exploring the potential opportunities that climate change may bring for tourism development, and desig- ning mitigation and adaptation strategies to proactive respond to the challenges rising from climate change.
