摘　　要：《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)"H31英语"类目在非教材类的理论性研究英语文献、教材、教参类英语文献、英语读物、习题、试题的标引上存在问题,使编目员在工作中感到困惑。对此,《中国图书馆分类法》(第5版)的修订应注意专业英语类目、"H319.3教学法、教材、教学参考书"类目、"H319.6习题、试题"类目等的设置问题,并对"H319英语教学"类目增加注释,以解决当前英语类图书的分类问题。The category of “H31 English”in Chinese Library Classification（CLC）（5th edition） has some problems in the indexing of non-teaching English theoretical research literatures, English textbooks, English teaching reference books, English reading materials,and English exercises and examination questions, which make catalogers confused in the classification and indexing work. The revised version of CLC（5th edition）should be given attention to the setting of categories of professional English, “H319.3 English teaching methods, textbooks and teaching reference books”,“H319.6 English exercises and examination questions”, and add notes to the category of “H319 English teaching”, in order to solve current classification problems of English books.
