伦敦意象的女性主义书写——《伊芙琳娜:少女涉世录》中的都市想象体系探究

摘　　要：弗朗西斯·伯尼的《伊芙琳娜:少女涉世录》常作为讲述女性成长话题的社会风俗小说受到关注,却很少被视为女性都市文本加以研究。本文拟将《伊芙琳娜》置于城市文学和女性主义交叉视阈之下,探讨女小说家如何作为话语主体通过女主人公的伦敦奇缘批判和解构都市中的男权话语,进而建构女性主义的都市意象体系。Frances Burney＇s Evelina,or the History of a Young Lady＇s Entrance into the World is widely viewed as an important work of novel of manners because it touches upon the theme of female initiation. However, it is rarely studied as the text of urban female image. This paper intends to study Evelina not only as urban literature but also as feminist writing and discuss how female novelists as discourse subject build feminist city image system by criticizing the heroine＇s experience and deconstructing the patriarchal discourse in London.
