摘　　要：Cheng Kai＇s Revolutionizing the May Fourth Intellectuals： The Historical Status and Intellectual Investigations of Writers during the Great Revolution （1924- 1930） covers the historical period from the last echoes of the May Fourth Movement through to the establishment of the League of Left-Wing Writers, which is relatively longer than the ＂Great Revolution＂ period defined in the field of modem Chinese history, and larger than the scope of ＂revolutionary literature debates＂ defined in the field of modem Chinese literature.
