Objective To explore the application efficacy of pedometer movement in patients with moderate and severe COPD.Methods 90 cases of patients with moderate and severe COPD were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received bronchodilator inhalation therapy, antibiotics to prevent infection and ambroxol for expectoration, the observation received pedometer movement on the basis of control group. The pulmonary function and dyspnea score were compared between two groups. Results The FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC, 6MWT of two groups six months and 1 year after intervention were significantly improved, and the improvement degree of observation group was better than that of control group, with statistical difference(P〈0.05). The dyspnea scores of observation group six months and 1 year after intervention were significantly lower than those of control group, the difference was statistical(P〈0.05). Conclusions Pedometer movement can effectively improve the pulmonary function of patients with moderate and severe COPD, reduce the dyspnea score and improve exercise tolerance, which is worthy of application.
