摘　　要：自动交换光网络(ASON-Automatically Switched Optical Network)是一种融交换、传送为一体的自动交换传送网。ASON网络较传统的传送网络有更高的灵活性和可靠性;凭借其优良的性能成为了传送网络的主流技术之一。其中ASON网络的保护和恢复是确保业务畅通的两种重要机制。ASON（Automatically Switched Optical Network） is one kind of transport network which including transport, and switch, as well. It is more flexible and reliable compare to the traditional transport networks. With good performance, ASON has become one popular kind of transport networks solutions. Protection and restore are two kinds of mechanisms to ensure services normal in ASON.
