摘  要:以三羟乙基异氰尿酸酯(THEIC)为成炭剂,与聚磷酸铵(APP)及4A型分子筛组成可用于聚丙烯(PP)的膨胀阻燃剂(IFR)体系,并研究了IFR对PP阻燃性能和热降解行为的影响。结果表明:由32%的THEIC、64%的APP和4%的4A型分子筛组成的IFR对PP具有较好的阻燃效果;IFR用量为25%时,阻燃PP的氧指数达到34.0%,并通过UL 94V-0测试。热重分析(TGA)测试结果表明,THEIC和APP具有协同成炭作用,IFR通过改变PP的热降解行为,提高了PP的热稳定性。扫描电镜(SEM)测试结果表明,阻燃PP/IFR体系在燃烧后形成了致密的膨胀炭层,起到很好的阻燃作用。A intumescent flame retardant(IFR) system was formed for polypropylene(PP), in which tris(2-hydroxyethyl) isocyanurate(THEIC) used as charring agent was combined with different amount of ammonium polyphosphate(APP) and zeolite 4A. The experimental results demonstrate that when the components of the IFR are 64% APP, 32% THEIC and 4% zeolite 4A, it presents effective flame retardancy for PP. When the IFR loading is 25%, the OI of PP is 34%, and the UL 94 reaches to V-0 rating. The results of TGA demonstrate that THEIC has good synergistic char forming ability with APP, and the thermal stability of PP blends improves with IFR system through changing the degradation behavior of PP. The results of SEM show that the compact intumescent char layer is formed after PP/IFR being burnt, thus the flame retardant property is good.
