摘　　要：韩国建筑以1953年朝鲜战争停战后的重建为起点， 经历了关于传统性的争论、 对经济的追逐以及建设师自我反思等过程后， 最终回归到将建筑归还给市民的新落脚点。My architecture begins with the idea of the ＂the madang as a room.＂ The madang is a key element in Korea＇s traditional architecture. It is a space that shows itself in ＂emptiness.＂ In comparison to the ＂generic architectural space,＂ it is relatively transparent and immaterial, and tends to be light and valueless. It is similar to the condition of modern art, where the value of representational art has become null. There is a postmodern irony in that this aesthetic of disappearance is its very characteristic.
