摘　　要：在梳理国内图像元数据相关文献的基础上,归纳出可用于描述和著录图像的元数据标准主要有三类:专门的图像元数据标准,文化资源相关的元数据标准,通用元数据标准。从敦煌壁画、舆图、建筑与工艺图片、服饰图片等方面分析文化资源管理中图像元数据的研究和实践情况,指出图像等视觉类资源元数据标准的制定和实践应用还需要加强面向图像内容的描述性元数据研究、对元数据标准的评价和互操作研究以及面向用户的元数据使用研究等。参考文献42。On the basis of combing domestic literature related to image metadata, the paper summarizes three kinds of standards that could be used on image description, including： professional image metadata standards, metadata standards related to cultural resources, general metadata standards. After that, it analyzes the study and practice of image metadata in cultural resource management from Dunhuang frescoes, chorographic maps, images of architecture, arts and crafts, and images of dresses. Then, it points out that the future study and practice on metadata standard of visual resources could be strengthened from the aspects of descriptive metadata standard development concerning image content, evaluation and interoperability of metadata standard, and rele- vant user study. 42 refs.
