摘　　要：高校图书馆是城市文化的重要组成部分,是城市文化的标志和城市文明的象征,也是城市文化品味高低的体现。文章明确了高校图书馆在城市文化建设中的地位,探讨高校图书馆在城市建设中的作用:高校图书馆对城市文化建设提供资源保障,对城市文化起着导向和着支撑的作用。University library is an important part of city culture, a sign of city culture and the symbol of urban civilization, and the embodiment of the urban cultural taste as well. This thesis has been clear about the status of university library in the city culture construction and discusses the role of university library in the urban construction： university library can lead to the new starting point in city culture construction, playing a guiding role in the city culture and a supporting role in it.
