摘　　要：为了实现MapGIS以及ArcGIS平台间的地学符号数据的共享,深入研究地学符号的特点和存储机制,提出将MapGIS平台下的符号库转换到ArcGIS平台下并建设基于Oracle数据库管理的标准地学符号库的方案,分析地学符号库的结构,设计并实现地学符号库转换以及地学符号数据库管理系统.最终,实现原有MapGIS平台下地学符号到ArcGIS平台的准确转换,保证了符号的真实性,完成了地学符号的标准符号化表示.In order to realize the sharing of geological symbol data at MapGIS and ArcGIS platforms, in further study the characteristics and storage mechanisms of geological symbols. This paper puts forward a scheme which realizes the symbol library conversion from MapGIS platform to ArcGIS platform and build standard geological symbol library based on Oracle database management. It analyses the construction of ge- ological symbol library, designs and realizes geological symbol library conversion and geological symbol data- base management system. Eventually, this paper realizes the original symbol conversion from MapGIS plat- form to ensure the authenticity of the symbol. It is completed a standard geological symbol symbolic repre- sentation.
