In order to comprehensively know the pollution condition of heavy metal in Dazhai sponge fields, the contents of Zn, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, As, Cd and Hg in this area were analyzed, Shanxi Soil Environment Quality Standard and Secondary Soil Environment Quality Standard were used as evaluation standard, the soil pollution status was evaluated based on the single factor index method and Nemoro integrated pollution index. Results:Contents of the eight heavy metals in soil did not exceed the Secondary Soil Environment Quality Standard, contents of As, Hg, Ni and Pb exceeded the Shanxi Soil Environment Quality Standard. The soil in the coverage areas reached high pollution of As, Hg and Pb. And the pollution index of Cu, Ni, Zn and Cd reached alter line. The potential ecological risk index order was Hg 〉 Cd 〉 As 〉 Pb 〉 Ni 〉 Cu 〉 Zn 〉 Cr. The pollution level risk intensity was mild. The correlation analysis indicated that Cr, Ni, Zn, Cu, Cd and As were likely from the same source. Hg and other heavy metals were not related. Heavy metals with high levels of pollution and agricultural fertilization, tourist transportation, construction, daily life and production activities were closely related.
