摘  要:五四运动时期,河南以省会开封为中心在全省掀起长达一年半的运动。运动初期,学商结成联盟,以河南督军赵倜为首的政界采取暗地行使武力的手段对学界威吓,但学界因有商界的支持而坚持运动。后来赵倜因对企图更换豫督的北京政府不满,乃放任和支持运动,使运动不断高涨。但随着查禁日货的深入,商界损失惨重,对学界日益不满,转而向政界请援。地位已稳固的赵倜乃和商界联合,武力镇压了学生。学界不甘屈服,和政界角力,终因无北京政府的支持而失败。河南五四运动中学商政三者的关系错综复杂,导致各方矛盾冲突激烈,使运动呈现异常复杂之面相,在全国产生相当大的影响。The May 4th Movement lasted a year and a half in Henan province with its capital Kaifeng as the center of the movement. At the beginning of the movement, students entered into an alliance with business. The government which was led by warlord Zhao Ti threatened the students by using force in secret, but supported by the merchants the students persisted in their struggles. Later, when Zhao Ti was very dissatisfied to Beijing government's attempt of changing his the position, so he turned to support the students, the movement reached its peak. However, with the deepening boycott of Japanese goods and the merchants' interests were seriously harmed, the business community became dissatisfied to the students. So the business turned to government for assistance. Zhao Ti when his position become consolidated joined the business and suppressed the students by force. Although unwilling to yield and struggled, in the final the students failed because they didn't has the support of the Beijing government. With complicated relations among the students, the merchants and the politicians contradictions escalated into radical conflicts, the complex of the May 4th Movement in Henan had exerted a considerable impact on China as a whole.
