论中古大学的科学研究及其特点

摘　　要：西方中古时期是一个宗教文化发达昌盛、科学文化贫弱的历史时期。尽管如此,社会乃至大学科学研究活动仍然还是在进行,并在一些局部或某些方面发展着。中世纪大学是我们今天认定的现代大学之肇始。由此,试图把中古大学分为非"中世纪大学"、中世纪大学和文艺复兴时期大学三段历史时期,就科学研究进行历史考察并找寻其特点。从中古大学科学研究历史的梳理过程中发现,中古大学科学研究的特点主要表现在以下六个方面:研究文化的宗教性,研究对象的文献性,研究内容的广泛性,研究形式的组织性,研究方法的多样性,研究发展的非均衡性。Western medieval times is a historical period which has flourishing and prosperous religious cultural but poor and weak science culture. Even so, scientific activities of society and university are still engaging and having develop- ments in some certain parts. Nowadays the medieval universities are affirmed the origin of modem university. Thus, we at- tempt to separate medieval university into three sections, namely, non-medieval university, medieval university and universi- ty of Renaissance, and by applying method of scientific research to study and find the scientific research characteristics of that three times. From the historical hackle process of the scientific research of medieval university, we discovered that the characteristics are mainly express in following six aspects： religious of research culture; literature of object of study; extensiveness of research content; organization of research form; diversity of research method; non-equilibrium of research development.
