摘  要:针对IRI2012磁暴模式在中国大陆强太阳活动程度和磁扰条件下的适用性问题,利用该模型模拟了电离层TEC及自由电子密度在2003年8月磁暴发生前后的时空变化,并与GPSTEC 、测高仪数据及GPS电离层层析重构结果作了比较,结果表明:IRI2012磁暴模式能够反映强太阳活动程度下TEC 的分布特征, 模拟精度可达±2.3 TECU~ ±7.4TECU,并随纬度降低而变大,TEC 周日峰值较实测数据提前2h出现,TEC 模拟值在白天偏高,在夜间则偏低;F2层自由电子密度模拟值在峰值密度和峰值高度上与武汉测高仪数据有较好的一致性,但在磁扰发生的条件下,IRI2012 磁暴模式由于不能有效的反映电子密度剖面赤道异常区域的北向移动以及赤道异常核在纬度方向的收缩和在高度方向的扩展,使得TEC 模拟精度也出现较大衰减,最大达±14.4TECU.For the applicability over China of IRI2012 (the international reference ionosphere )in storm mode with strong solar activity or magnetic disturbance,the model is used to simulate the temporal and spatial variation of the ionospheric TEC (total electron content)and free electron density during magnetic storms in August 2003,and compared with the GPS-TEC,i-onosondes data and reconstruction of ionospheric electron density by CIT(computerized ionospheric tomograph),the results showed that:IRI2012 in storm mode can reflect the distribution of TEC over China with strong solar activity,the simulation accuracy is up to ± 2.3 TECU ~ ± 7.4 TECU increasing with latitude decline.In addition,TEC analog values is higher in daytime and lower at night compared with the measured data,its diurnal peak appears two hours earlier than GPS-TEC.The simulation of peak density and peak height of electron density in F2 layer is in well agreement with the ionosondes in Wuhan, but in the condition that magnetic disturbance occurs,the analog values of electron density profiles by IRI2012 in storm mode are unable to effectively reflect such changes of the area of equatorial anomaly that integral movement toward the north,con-traction of nuclear in the latitude direction and expansion in the height direction,as a result the simulation accuracy of TEC make larger attenuation over this region,which is up to ± 14.4 TECU.
