摘　　要：国际研发城市是知识经济时代伴随研发全球化过程而出现的一种新型空间形态与城市功能,亟需重点关注。综合运用新经济增长、全球价值链以及城市创新系统等理论工具,尝试搭建国际研发城市形成与发展机制的理论解释框架。研究表明,国际研发城市的形成根植于知识经济时代的深刻背景。在新经济下,跨国公司主导的全球研发网络的空间扩张与地方镶嵌改变了全球价值链中研发与设计环节的集聚程度与趋势,构成国际研发城市崛起的外部动力条件;同时,凝结于城市中的基于自身研发资源禀赋的地方竞争优势与研发系统的完善程度是推动国际研发城市形成与发展的内生基础。在未来,应当通过融入全球研发网络与优化城市研发系统内外两方面相协调的路径来整合全球力量与本地资源,进而推动国际研发城市的形成与持续发展。The international RD city is a kind of new city space form and function coming with the development of RD globalization in the era of knowledge economy which need to focus on. The paper tries to set up the theoretical framework for the formation and development of international RD city is by using the combination of some theories and analysis tools including New Economic Growth Theory,RD globalization,global value chain,regional innovation system and so forth. Research shows that the formation of international RD city is rooted in the background of knowledge economy. In the new economy,the global RD network＇ s expansion and local mosaic led by MNCs changes the agglomeration degree and trend of the RD segment in the global value chain,and becomes the external conditions for the rise of international RD city. At the same time,the local competitive advantage and the degree of perfection of the urban RD system is the endogenous base of international RD city＇s rise and development. In the future. It should be the right path to coordinate the global force and local resources by integrating into the external global RD network and optimizing the internal urban RD system in two aspects so that we can promote the rise and sustainable development of international RD city.
