摘　　要：近五年来,国外福克纳研究呈现三个重要发展态势:首先,研究者们以跨学科的视野推进了福克纳文化批评,性别、种族等传统选题得到进一步的挖掘,后人文主义、后殖民理论话语的不断丰富为生态环境、空间地理批评注入了新的活力,媒介批评异军突起,跃升为福克纳文化研究的重点;其次,新的理论话语使得长期以来在福克纳作品体系中被忽视的次要作品彰显出独特的审美价值,拓宽了福克纳文本研究范围;最后,文学传记叙事模式的转变、历史语境的深入挖掘、多面向的比较研究都大大拓展了福克纳传记和综述研究的新维度。Over the past five years, three new trends have emerged in William Faulkner studies abroad. First, some researchers have adopted the interdisciplinary methodology of cultural studies to approach Faulkner＇s works, exploring topics such as sex and race, pepping up ecological and spatial discussions with ideas of post-humanism and post-colonialism, and foregrounding readings in light of media criticism. Second, new critical discourses have shed light on his lesser-known works and thus broadened the horizon of Faulkner studies. Third, the turn in narrative model of literary biography, further exploration into historical context, and multi-faceted comparative study have jointly created a new space for researchers to study Faulkner biographies and other related writings.
