摘　　要：20世纪50年代末"大跃进"时期,全国农村图书馆建设也开始了"跃进",但随着"大跃进"的结束,这些图书馆也迅速消亡。在极"左"思潮泛滥、图书馆界开始大跃进、图书馆职能被扭曲的背景下,农村图书馆的建设从辉煌走向落寞。在当今国家大力提倡农村文化建设、结合城镇化发展建设农村图书馆的新时期,大跃进时期农村图书馆建设有一定的历史借鉴意义和价值。During the ＇＇great leap forward＂ period in the late 1950＇s, the construction of rural libraries also started the ＂leap forward＂ all over China, but with the end of the ＂great leap forward＂, they＇re rapid demised. Under the background of the proliferation of the ultra left trend of thought, libraries began the great leap forward, the function of the library was distorted, the construction of the rural library was from brilliant toward lonely. In the new period of the statepromoting the construction of rural cultrure and constructing the rural library combining with the development of urbarization, characteristics construction of the rural library during the ＇＇great leap forward＇＇ period have some historical significances and values..
