摘　　要：张佩纶是马江战役中方的指挥官,关于其有无在战时怯战逃跑,前人各执一词。在研究中发现,张佩纶在战时名义上登山观战,实则是在为自己的安危着想,主动放弃了中方的最高指挥权,令陆路和江上的部众群龙无首,没有统一指挥,最终败得很惨。而福建水师全军覆没,张佩纶主动放弃指挥显然是重要原因之一。Zhang Peiguan is the commander of the Majiang battle, on its no escape in wartime timid war, former each sticks to his argument. Found in the study, Zhang Peiguan during the war nominally mountaineering watch, but in fact is in for the sake of their own safety, take the initiative to give up China＇s supreme command, make the road and the river to the Department the rudderless, no unified command, ultimately failed miserably. While the Fujian Navy annihilated, Zhang Peiguan take the initiative to give up command is clearly one of the important reasons.
