摘　　要：赞恩·格雷是美国通俗小说作家,他的反映西部骑士生活的小说《紫艾草骑士》拥有庞大的读者群。小说中刻画的两位牛仔给人们留下深刻的印象,他们是西部牛仔的典型代表,其行为可歌可赞,令人钦佩。Zane Grey is an American popular novel writer. His novel Riders of the Purple Sage reflects American western riders＇ life which won a large number of readers. The two riders in the novel give us deep impression. They are typical representatives of western cowboy riders and their behaviors deserve high praise and respect.
