摘　　要：文章从技术角度出发,分析了基于Ka的海事卫星通信系统全球网络架构,并结合在应用中所体现的特点,对海事卫星GX宽带业务的技术特性进行了分析和思考,有助于了解和掌握全球最新一代移动卫星通信技术的发展趋势,对于推动我国Ka频段卫星通信业务开展,安全应急通信发展、促进我国移动卫星通信技术进步具有现实意义。Inmarsat-5 Global Xpress （GX） service comply with Ka-Band telecommunication standard, and provides globally broadband IP communications .This article researched the network topology and technical for Inmarsat-5 System. The document discusses the detail of Inmarsat-5 System design, consist the overview the architecture, the network nodes and network connectivity design of Inmarsat-5 system. We also pay close attention to the recent developments, applications and future trends in Ka-Band communication.
