摘　　要：中国正经历快速城市化的过程,城市化过程也是城市空间扩展的过程。弄清城市空间布局形成的机理,就是明确城市空间的布局是怎么形成的,空间布局的形成具有哪些特征,以及政府在城市规划时应该注意哪些问题。站在空间社会学的角度,结合宝鸡市陈仓区的实例,探讨中国城市化过程中空间布局的形成特点及原因。China is experiencing a rapid process of urbanization and the urbanization is also a process of ur-ban space extension.Figuring out mechanism of city space formation means：how the city space layout forms,what characteristics city space layout formation has,and what problems the government should pay attention to when making urban planning.From the angle of the space-sociology,combining the develop-ment of Chencang District,Baoji City,the paper talked about the characteristics of and reasons for city space formation in China’s urbanization.
