摘　　要：经过百年多的震荡和调整,当代西方文论的发展,接下来应该进入一个稳定共识的新时期。这既是理论发展规律衍生的自然结果,也是当代西方文论未来发展的应有范式。目前,当代西方文论向稳定共识期跃进的基本条件已经具备。在这一新的稳定共识期,文学理论应该走向系统发育。从历时性上说,它利于吸取历史上一切有益成果,并将它们贯注于理论构成的全过程;从共时性上说,它利于融合多元进步因素,并将它们融为一体,铸造新的系统构成。系统发育是理论成长的内生动力,也是一种理论、一个学科日趋成熟的重要标志。After over a hundred years＇ oscillation and adaptation ensues a new phase of stability and consent in the development of Western Literary Criticism. This is a natural result of the historical development of theories, and Western Literary Criticism is no exception. At present the basic conditions are ripe for Western Literary Criticism to enter the phase of stability and consent, during which literary criticism will welcome its systematic development. Chronologically speaking, it will absorb all the beneficial past achievements; synchronically speaking, it will combine multiple positive elements into one unified whole—a newly built theoretical system. Systematic development is the internal impetus for the growth of literary criticism, and an important marker of the maturation of a theory or discipline.
