摘　　要：随着材料科学的发展,越来越多的新材料、新技术应用于船舶。PE管材作为民用工程管道中成熟可靠的产品,其具有重量轻、安装快捷方便、耐腐蚀、使用安全可靠、维护成本低等优点。用于船舶压载系统,可以有效的减轻船舶空船重量,从而提升船舶性能;提高船舶建造效率,缩短造船周期,为船厂保证按时交船提供保障;另外其使用寿命长,维护成本低,从而为船东产生较大的经济效益。With the development of material science, more and more new material and new technology were used in ship building industry. PE pipe was a credible production using for civil engineering pipe Which was characteristic with less weight, easy installation, corrosion-resisting and low cost for maintenance. If the PE pipe was applied in ship＇ s ballast system, the weight of the ship could be reduced and the efficiency of ship building could be improved. Thus the construction time could be shortened with improved ship performance. In addition, better economic performance would be achieved since the PE pipe was with long service life and also cheap to maintain.
