“要知猿叫肠堪断,除非侬身自作猿”——为徐朔方先生《徐渭年谱》献疑兼考《四声猿》创作时间

摘　　要：徐渭的《四声猿》是明代剧坛公认的杰作,但其创作时间却并不明晰。徐朔方先生的《晚明曲家年谱·徐渭年谱》将《四声猿》的创作时间考在1558年徐渭进入胡宗宪幕府之前。然而,徐朔方先生的推论存在着不少瑕疵,其结论并不可靠。徐渭答复倪某的七首诗是徐渭作品中唯一提到《四声猿》创作的,其中有不少徐渭学画的信息,通过对徐渭学画时间的考证,结合王骥德《曲律》的记载,《四声猿》之一的"早年之笔"《玉禅师》当作于1566年左右,而后三部剧作约作于1588年左右。Xu Wei＇s Si Sheng Yuan is well- known masterpieces among the Ming Dynasty dramas, but the date of its creation is not clear. Xu Shuofang＇ s Chronicle of Xu Wei pinned down its date on 1558 before Xu Wei was entered the military office of Hu Zongxian. But his conclusion is not convincible with some flaws in his inference. Xu Wei＇ s six poems replying to a Mr. Ni is the only Works of Xu Wei which mentioned the creation of the four dramas. The six poems also contain some information of Xu＇ s learning of painting. Therefore, by investigating Xu Wei＇ s timeline of painting learning, with referencing to Wang Jide＇ s Qu Lv, we may find that the earliest one of the four dramas in Si Sheng Yuan should be created around 1566, the other three around 1588.
