摘　　要：图书馆作为平台是近年来海外图书馆界的一个新理念,本文对这一理念的来龙去脉加以引介,对其内涵进行深入探讨,同时介绍图书馆平台化建设的基本要素与架构思路,并对图书馆平台化转型的一系列问题进行探讨,这些对于图书馆在网络时代的转型发展将有很好的借鉴作用。＂Library as platform＂ is a concept introduced and discussed by foreign librarians recently. The paper introduces the concept and the related discussions in detail as well as putting forward ideas of basic elements and architecture for the platform. The paper would be helpful to guide the transformation process of libraries in this Intemet era.
