摘　　要：对于美国移民政策的研究一直是美国研究中的一个重大课题。1965年以后的大陆移民,受到新的美国移民政策、固有的移民结构、中国国内发展新情况以及国际大背景的综合影响,发生了新的变化,呈现了不同的特点。根据这些变化结合华人社会实际可以将1965年以后的华人移民进程分为四个历史阶段。同时,分析总结了中国大陆新移民的新特点和变化,在全球性的经济、社会背景下,根据中美两国的具体国情及中美关系的发展对今后美国对华移民政策的趋势做出初步预测。The study of American immigration policy is of great significance in the American study field. Due to the 1965 immigration policy, the original social structure of Chinese Americans and the changing situation in China's Mainland, immigrants from China's Mainland have changed a lot, not only in quantity, but also in all social aspects. First, according to data and facts, summarizes the immigration policies changes and divided it into four periods; emphasizes the importance of 1965 Immigration Act and its effects. Second, compares to premier Chinese Americans, generalizes new characters of mainland Chi- nese immigrants. Finally, tries to predict the tendency of U. S. immigration policy towards China under the changing circumstances of globalization and relations between China and the United Stnte~
