译者主体性在人物语言翻译上的体现——以霍译《红楼梦》中林黛玉的语言为例

摘　　要：翻译要忠实于原文,忠实于作者,忠实于读者。在翻译过程中,译者应发挥主观能动性,运用恰当的翻译策略,使译文更容易被译入语读者所理解和接受。霍克斯翻译的《红楼梦》为我们提供了很好的范例。研究霍译《红楼梦》中林黛玉的语言和性格,旨在说明译者主体性在翻译过程中的体现及人物性格在译入语中的反映。Translation should be loyal to the source text, the writer and the readers. In the process of translation, the translators should exert their subjectivity and use proper strategies to make the translated version easier to be accepted and understood by the target readers. David Hawkes＇ translation of Hong Lou Meng （The Story of the Stone） answers the question well. The author probes into the language feature and characteristics of Lin Daiyu in Hawkes＇ version, aiming to illustrate the application of the translator＇s subjectivity in the translation of people＇s characteristics.
