摘　　要：悬链线是两端固定绳子在重力场中的平衡位形.定义悬链线的宽度是两个端点的水平距离,高度是最低点到两端点连线的垂直距离.这两者是悬链线的几何特征.文章推导了悬挂重物悬链线宽度和高度所满足的参数方程,实验数据验证了这个关系式.Catenary is the equilibrium configuration of a rope hanged in the gravitational field with both ends fixed.The geometric characteristics of catenary are the width,which is the horizontal distance between the two ends and the height,which is the vertical distance from the lowest point to the segment of ends.The parameter equations of the width and height of a catenary with hanged object are derived in this paper,and confirmed by the experiment data.
