摘　　要：作为佛山市的第二水源工程,西江水厂及配套输配水管道的建设意义重大。佛山市第二水源工程的建设既向管网沿线居民提供了卫生安全的优质饮用水,同时又打破了佛山市原来单一水源(北江)供水的局面,实现了双水源供水,提高了佛山市的供水安全可靠性。佛山市第二水源工程自2009年底运行至今,处理效果稳定,出厂水水质完全满足《生活饮用水卫生标准》(GB5749—2006)的要求。As the second water source project in Foshan City, the construction of Xijiang River water treatment plant and its transmission and distribution pipeline is of great significance. The construc- tion of the second water source project can provide hygienic and safe drinking water for the residents along the pipeline and change the original the single water source （Beijiang River） supply situation, thus achieving the dual water source supply and improving the water supply safety and reliability in Foshan City. Since it was operated at the end of 2009, the project had stable treatment efficiency, and the trea- ted water quality met the Standards for Drinking Water Quality （GB 5749 -2006）.
