摘　　要：目的探讨缩短普外科平均住院日的措施。方法通过统计某院2010年-2013年普外科出院患者平均住院日,利用SPSS13.0软件进行t检验统计分析,评价缩短平均住院日的措施及效果。结果 2010年3243出院患者平均住院日为8.38天;2011年3737出院患者平均住院日为7.75天;2012年4231出院病人平均住院日为7.04天;2013年4741出院患者平均住院日为6.33天。由2010年的8.38天降至2013年的6.33天(P<0.05)。结论通过加强门急诊管理、住院流程环节管理、电子病历系统的应用、提高医疗团队及护理团队水平、积极开展推广新技术、开展日间手术、开展临床路径管理及院间双向转诊,平均住院日逐年下降,提高医院工作效率。Objective To investigate the measures to decrease the average length of stay in general surgery department. Methods To conduct a ＂t test＂ statistical analysis on the average length of stay among the discharged patients in general surgery department of a hospital from 2010 to 2013 with the application of SPSS13.0, and evaluate the measures and the effects at the same time. Results The average length of stay of 3243 discharged patients in 2010 was 8.38 days, and that of 3737 discharged patients in 2011 was 7.75 days, that of 4231 discharged patients in 2012 was 7.04 days, that of 4741 discharged patients in 2013 was 6. 33 days. The average length of stay had decreased from was 8.38 days in 2010 to 6. 33 days in 2013 （P〈0. 05） . Conclusions Through the measures such as strengthen the management of emergency department, hospitalization process, the application of electronic medical records system, improve the level of both doctors and nurses, carry out new technology and promotion, develop day surgery as well as clinical pathways management and two-ways referral among hospitals , we could decrease the average length of stay as well as improve the work efficiency of the hospital.
