P300 Based Effects of Upper Board Effect from 3D Film on Human Discomfort

摘  要:针对3D影片中出现的上边框效应是否会引起人体不适的问题,对35名志愿者先后观看明显含有上边框效应和不含上边框效应的3D片段后的P300峰值和潜伏期进行了系统研究.实验结果表明志愿者在观看含有上边框效应的3D片段后P300的峰值明显高于观看相应不含上边框效应的3D片段后P300的峰值,相应的潜伏期无明显差异.结合P300峰值和潜伏期的实验结果以及志愿者主观评价,可知短时间上边框效应会导致人体出现不适感.结果表明为了保证观看观众的舒适感,3D影片中上边框效应内容不宜过多.This paper explored whether upper board effect (UBE)could lead to human discomfort. 35 volunteers par- ticipated in this study. P300 event-related potential (ERP)experiments were conducted before and after watching the 3D segment with and without UBE. The comparison showed that the 3D segment with UBE induced higher P300 am- plitude than that without UBE did. However, it almost had no change in latency. Combining P300 results with the subjective evaluation of those 35 volunteers, it can be concluded that short-time upper board effect would lead to human discomfort. Therefore, it is suggested that there should not be appeared too much UBE in 3D films to ensure human comfort level.
