摘 要:从导波光学理论出发求解波动方程,得到了单模SOI平板波导芯层入射光TE波和TM波对应的电场分布规律;研究了对称GRIN介质的光束耦合特性。对1550nm的通信波长而言,对称GRIN介质耦合进入SOI波导时,使TE和TM偏振光的耦合效率恰好相同的最佳耦合条件为α=0.25μm-1,Δx=0,θ=0°,且耦合效率均为84.1%。According to the guided-wave optics theory solving the wave equation, the electric field distribution of TE polarized light in the single-mode optical fiber was obtained. Using the focused features of GRIN medium in the exit end to Gaussian beams, the characteristics of single-mode SOl planar waveguide coupling in the symmetric GRIN medium were researched. The coupling efficiency of TE and TM polarized light changed very little with the varying wavelength, and the coupling efficiency of TM wave was bigger under the same incidence wavelength conditions. For the 1550 nm wavelength of communication, the best coupling conditions are α=0. 25μm^-1 , △x=0 and θ= 0°, while the coupling efficiency of TE and TM wave is 84. 1% just the same.
