摘 要:《城堡》中的人物已具有后现代主义特征。从外在身份和身体形象来看,《城堡》中人物凌乱、矛盾的身份信息无法拼凑出完整而确定的形象,人物身份渐趋模糊化、碎片化,人物的身体形象在文本前后呈现出截然不同的面貌,甚至变幻莫测;从内在性格和精神来看,在《城堡》中,人物性格刻画已被淡化,人物塑造不再是重点,人物的精神状态也开始隐退,走向虚无与空洞,变得难以把握。尽管《城堡》中人物的主体形象已渐趋虚化,但人性依稀存在,人物不管是对基本生存权利的追求,还是对死亡的憧憬与想象,或是对性与权力的追逐,都显示出了人性的相对真实。The characters in The Castle have the features of postmodernism. Judging in terms of external identities and body images, whole and definite images can not be pieced up with characters' messy and para- doxical identity information. Characters' identities tend to be gradually blurred and fragmentized and their body images appear differently, even change unpredictably. Judging in terms of internal personality and spirit, in the novel, the depiction of characters' personality is diluted and character creation is no longer the empha- sis. Their spirit also begins to disappear, moving towards no ess and void which is difficult to grasp. though subject images of characters in The Castle tend to be blurred, humanity faintly exists : not only by char- acters' pursuit of basic right for survival, vision and imagination of death, but also by pursuit of sex and power.
